Features:
High wear resistance, micro deformation cold work die steel, wind hard tool steel, carbon content up to 1.5%, chromium content up to 11.5%, after heat treatment hardness up to 60HRC. D2 steel can be used to manufacture cold work die steels with large cross section, complex shape, large impact force and high wear resistance. It can be vacuum heat treated to HRC60°-62° with excellent processing performance.
USES:
Used for metal stamping die, drawing die, stainless steel sheet blanking die, high hardness blanking die, cutting knife die, screw die, hardware parts production, machinery manufacturing, etc.
Heat treatment:
Heat treatment specification: quenching, preheating at 820±15℃, 1000±6℃(salt bath) or 1010±6℃(furnace controlled atmosphere) heating, holding for 10 ~ 20min, air cooling, 200±6℃ tempering
Stress relief annealing:
After rough machining, the workpiece is heated to 600~650℃, held for 2h, and cooled to 500℃ with the furnace.
